Here’s how it works
Shop our website to stock up on all our great pet food, treats, gifts and supplies. After adding your shipping address, select Change in shipping options and choose Local Delivery. Note: If that option is not available, it may be because you are just outside our delivery area. No worries! To make special delivery arrangements outside our normal delivery area, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Q: Who will be my delivery driver?
A: The same friendly faces you see when you shop in our store! We don’t use third-party drivers, we bring your order to you ourselves. Your delivery driver will be Joy, Kat, Tina or Paige driving our own vehicles. *Depending on your location, we may send a professional, local courier for special arrangements outside our normal delivery area.
Q: How much do you charge for local delivery?
A: We offer FREE delivery on orders over $75 and just $8 for any order under $75. There is no minimum order for local delivery.
Q: What areas qualify for Local Delivery services?
A. Our delivery area includes all of Gainesville and some of the surrounding areas. Currently, we deliver to the following zip codes: 32601, 32602, 32604, 32614, 32610, 32635, 32627, 32612, 32611, 32603, 32641, 32605, 32667, 32607, 32608, 32606, 32609
Q: What if I live outside this area? Can I still request local delivery?
A. Yes, however there may be additional fees. When you place your first order, you can decide to have it shipped or delivered. To make delivery arrangements outside our normal delivery area, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Q: How do I place an order?
A: Online. For local delivery, you must complete the order online, including any relevant instructions for local delivery preferences.
Q. Can I place an order by phone?
A. No, all delivery orders must be placed online to ensure you are provided with the best customer service possible. Feel free to call the store to check product availability, ask product specific questions, or arrange in-store pick up.
Q. What if my selected items are out of stock?
A. We will contact you to discuss your order, you can select a partial delivery or choose to wait until your items are back in stock. We may suggest similar items for substitution.
Q: What day will my delivery arrive?
A: We deliver any day of the week and strive to deliver within 2-3 days. Most deliveries are made within 1-2 days. If your timing needs are sooner, please call us so we can make arrangements. Same day deliveries are not guaranteed.
Q: What time of the day will I receive my delivery?
A: Typically, between business hours of 10 am and 7 pm.
Q: Do I have to be home when the delivery arrives?
A: No. However, if you prefer to be home to receive your package, be sure to let us know in your Order Notes.
Q: If I'm not home, where will you leave my package?
A: Please leave package instructions on where you want the delivery to be left at your location. If we do not receive any special instructions we will leave the package in the most secured place we can find to protect it from the weather and anything else. We'll do our best to make your package safe when we leave it but it would be better to leave us instructions.
Q: Can you deliver to my place of employment?
A: Yes. In your account settings, you can even set up more than one address for delivery, so you can change locations for specific orders. Some office locations may require you to meet the driver at the curb to receive your order.
Q: What if the item I'm looking for is not on the website?
A: If you do not see an item on the website, just give us a call and we'll add it to your order. We are adding new products weekly, and we may occasionally discontinue items that are no longer available.
Q. What is the Return Policy on orders from local delivery?
A. Our return policy is simple: if you or your pet don't love it, just bring it back (even if you've already opened it!). Return the items to our store within 7 days from the received date for a full refund or 30 days for in-store credit. We do not accept returns on alcohol, frozen items or donations made to our rescue program. If you have a question about a returnable item, please call us and we'll do our best to make you happy.
